Outdoor Navigation
Special places - special challenges. Structural changes, and therefore the installation of acoustic signaling devices, are not possible everywhere. This is especially true for listed buildings. With this in mind, the idea of integrating outdoor navigation in the ground was born. In short: paving stone out - "talking" stone - LOC.id ROCK- in! When a blind or visually impaired person with an active app approaches the stone installed at ground level, it provides information about the local conditions or warns of existing obstacles. The surface is non-slip, can be driven over and is reliably protected against dust and water. And the power supply has also been considered. To eliminate the need for cables, a solar module is used, which is also embedded in the floor.
