A closure on a sidewalk, provided with a narrow detour for pedestrians, is a serious hazard for visually impaired people. LOC.id now provides a solution. When a user approaches the construction site, orientation tones immediately guide him or her in the direction of the detour, thus avoiding the danger spot. It is possible to combine the system with an additional information pillar that provides voice explanations of the situation.

Currently there is an ongoing test phase in Osnabrück which is being very positively received.
