LOC.id for
traffic lights

When a user with activated LOC.id app on his smartphone approaches a LOC.id-equipped traffic light, he or she is detected and the orientation signals are automatically raised, making it easy to find the pole and to start the green request. Thanks to the optimal sound direction of the acoustic signal transmitter, the walk signal is emitted directly into the ford to be crossed, thus ensuring safe orientation. When leaving the traffic light pole, the volume of the orientation signal decreases to the base level.

As additional option LOC.id enables to automatically extend the green phase. The LOC.id app can be used to set up a time extension of the green phase for people with limited mobility to cross intersections safely. If these people approach a traffic light equipped with LOC.id, they are detected and given more time to cross the road as required. To prevent misuse, a separate activation is required for this function.
